“We had the pleasure of working with James from Yellow Hat Renovations. We bought an old townhome and it required a major facelift. We painted the whole house, hardwood floors, carpet, kitchen, 3 full baths and one wall taken down. We met with James at the house for a quote/consultation. It’s our first renovation so we are quite clueless. James was very professional and really informative upon meeting him. We basically learned Renovations 101 in that consult.
We told James that we were on a tight schedule. James advised us that he would be able to meet our timeline as long as we are able to decide on things quickly ie. Choosing tiles, lighting etc…James is a man of his word. He did not only meet our time expectations but he went above and beyond to make sure that the renovations went smoothly. We hit a few hiccups on the course of renos but he was quick to respond with suggestions on how to fix the issue. Every time we had a concern on anything, he would call us right away and took his time answering all our questions. We felt very well taken care of.
James’ trades were very courteous and professional. They always leave the place in a good state and the workmanship is excellent. James stands by his work and possesses good work ethics. A couple weeks after we have moved into the new place, we found that one section of living room’s hardwood was squeaky and one of the bath tub spout was leaking. We called James and he sent his trades within the next 2 days to fix them. We are thoroughly satisfied and happy with the renovations and just excited to be in our new home. We heard about James through our realtor. Before we hired James, we only had a few pictures of his work and his pleasing personality to go by. We are so glad that we took the chance with James.
